Thomas B. Briers, CPA/ABV

Tom brings to the firm over 40 years of domestic and international accounting and business management expertise as a Certified Public Accountant. He has worked both as a CPA in the Public Accounting arena and as a Corporate Operations and Finance executive in the United States and Europe. Tom is uniquely qualified to assist clients with a broad range of both business and personal taxes, and financial management and accounting matters. His business management and professional experiences have provided him with the ability to advise clients on all aspects of a financial transaction. In addition, Tom has been recognized by The American Institute of CPA’s with the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential, a designation held by fewer than one percent of all U.S. CPA’s. Tom serves the needs of a diverse group of high net worth individuals, professionals, executives and business owners who have come to rely on his insightful, objective guidance to achieve their goals.

Prior to forming this Firm, with his son, Mike, Tom served as Regional Chief Operating Officer for various regions in the United States and all of Western Europe for Stewart Enterprises, Inc. Prior thereto, Tom was a Managing Partner and Member of the Executive Committee of the CPA firm of Persinger & Company, a multi-office firm with locations in Virginia and West Virginia.
