Our Story

The inception of Briers Accountants & Advisors, LLC began more than 8,000 miles from Bonita Springs, Florida, while founder Mike Briers was working in the textile industry in Shanghai, China. Determined to return to public accounting, and to settle in a desirable part of the world, Mike began discussing the idea of creating an accounting practice in Southwest Florida with his wife, Chandra, and his father, Tom.

Having relocated to the area a few years earlier, Tom saw Bonita Springs as the perfect place to start fresh. With their shared international business experience and complementary skills, the timing to launch a family-led accounting firm couldn’t have been better. In August 2007, they incorporated and started to build relationships and serve the community with integrity and professionalism.
